The Assistant City Engineer – Municipal Services Manager is a supervisory position responsible for the overall administration and management of municipal services related to program and project delivery for the Public Works Engineering Division. This position plays a critical role on the Engineering Leadership Team in supporting the City Engineer in providing leadership and visioning for the Public Works Engineering Division.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university and seven years increasingly responsible professional engineering experience working in municipal engineering and management including two years of supervisory experience. Valid driver's license.
Desirable Qualification Master's degree in Public Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field
Experience with public relations, project management, and budgeting and/or utility modeling and analysis software/tools
Proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications and familiarity with GIS software
Starting salary $101,388 to $119,279 annually depending on qualifications, with advancement to $149,102
