The ideal candidate will be an outstanding leader and mentor with a history of developing strong managers. He/she will have the demonstrated ability to inspire while holding people accountable for high standards and quality outcomes. With the passage of Measure P in 2018 bringing more projects online, previous success in overseeing CIP projects will be expected. At least seven years of public works experience that includes supervisory and management responsibilities and a bachelor's degree are required.
The salary range goes up to $230,507; salary is supplemented by an attractive benefits package.
