Description

Please note: salary $65,987 - $119,196, with a hiring range anticipated between $100,000 - $110,00, depending on qualifications.

Under limited supervision, performs complex professional, technical, and administrative work coordinating and supervising operations of the City's Utility Division, inclusive of water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, reclaimed water treatment and distribution, and other related areas.  This position reports to the Public Works Director and participates in the City's senior management team.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field is required. Completion of college level courses in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant operations, environmental statistics, hydraulics, water resources, environmental planning and management, stream sanitation, and environmental chemistry is preferred. Eight (8) years relevant experience, three (3) of which must have been management experience in a municipal water and wastewater utility. Licenses in State of Florida water and/or wastewater treatment plant operators is preferred.  An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
