Salary Schedule Range $5,406 - $7,114/monthly
($31.19 - $41.04/hourly)
This is a skilled journey level class required to perform a variety of complex repairs, adjustments, maintenance, installation, and testing of electrical and electronic equipment and instrumentation, process control and data acquisition, and communications systems. The ideal candidate shall possess the following characteristics: integrity, initiative, energy and organization. This position will include emergency response and On-Call responsibilities. We have a competitive salary/benefit package and provide on-going extensive training.
Under general supervision install, repair, replace, calibrate, test, overhaul, design, construct or modify various electrical and electronic systems and equipment; and do related work as required.

Must possess a valid California Drivers’ License and acceptable driving record to the District’s automobile insurance provider.
Desired Education and Training: At least three years of responsible work experience in the installation, design, repair, maintenance and modification of electrical systems, electronic systems, radio, telemetry, microwave and landline communications and process control and data acquisition systems.
