The Public Works Agency is seeking a seasoned manager to direct maintenance and repair of County roads and flood control facilities. This person will be a creative problem solver with a business mindset who leverages the Agency's automated maintenance management system to better forecast maintenance needs, schedule and complete repairs, enhance communication, and improve work flow. The successful candidate will be an inspiring and collaborative leader who grows and develops staff, supports other departments, and carries forward the objectives of leadership.
Requires 5 years equivalent full-time experience at Alameda County service or a Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years experience in roads, flood control structures and public works maintenance, construction management, or related activity; at least 1 year supervisory experience; and a CA driver's license.
Salary: $124,342.20 per year + benefits.
