The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for analyzing customer and system requirements, and designing solutions that will effectively integrate with current or future applications and systems.
Salary: $73,020.71 - $108,399.65 Annually
They will work independently with IT personnel and internal/external customers to ensure that proposed technical infrastructure solutions align with the company's overall objectives, and meets the needs of the City's mission and vision. Advanced knowledge and experience with infrastructure architectures and design as well as a demonstrated knowledge pertaining to IT security and infrastructure best practices are required. They will provide advice on industry trends in planning current and future IT needs and guidance on complex architecture challenges. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly motivated technologist with a proven track record of delivering results in IT infrastructure for enterprise environments. They will have expertise in the planning, design, implementation, maintenance, operation, and lifecycle management of complete infrastructure solutions and services. They will possess technical expertise in Ethernet and IP networking for both campus and data center networks, and will be able to lead the development, implementation, and operation of complex network, compute, and storage infrastructure solutions, encompassing physical and virtual resources, on-premise and cloud-provisioned. They will possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills, and be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically about the business, develop solution strategies, and lead technical teams through implementation. They will be ready to work diligently as part of the team to design, deliver, and support high-quality IT services from desktop to data center.
