Develop and direct the programs and activities of Public Works & Facilities Departments. This position requires extensive knowledge of and experience with public works functions such as road construction, fleet management, grounds maintenance, storm water and drainage, plowing and sanding of roads, along with comprehensive knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment required.
The minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field and five (5) or more years of increasingly responsible work in public works and facilities maintenance administration, including three years in public works unionized supervisory capacity.
