Manage Utilities Maintenance Division: supervising maintenance personnel and volunteers; planning and coordinating projects and work flow; establishing division goals and priorities; complying with state and federal regulations and required standards; and assisting Public Works Director with administration of comprehensive public works operation. Must be available after business hours for meetings, emergencies, and other operations such as water breaks, floods, and weather-related events.
Associate degree in related field or certificate in public works; eight years of experience in municipal utility division; Minnesota Class A Water Supply Systems and Class SA Wastewater Collection certifications; leadership, supervisory, and communication skills; knowledge of applicable safety regulations; proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, SCADA and GIS; Class B driver's license and excellent record; ability to comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing; ability to meet physical requirements. Prefer: Bachelor's degree in related field and additional experience.
