The City of Beloit is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Director of Parks and Recreation in the Parks and Recreation Division of the Public Works Department.  

Salary: $73,279.00 - $91,599.00 Annually

This  position is responsible for managerial, professional and administrative work in planning, organizing and directing the programs, operations, services and staff of the Parks and Recreation Division of the Department of Public Works. The Parks and Recreation Division encompasses: Parks and Forestry, Recreation, Golf Course and Horticulture, Cemeteries, and the Senior Center. The Director of Parks and Recreation oversees management of city facilities, including, the Krueger Pool, Rotary River Center, Grinnell Hall Senior Center, Oakwood & Eastlawn Cemeteries, Big Hill Center, Edwards Activity and Sports Center, Krueger-Haskell Golf Course, boat & canoe/kayak launch areas, recreation programs, use agreements and the utilization of all other parks and park facilities.
